Weddings have been my goal since I began my photography business, but I also have been keeping myself busy and having a ton of fun with Long Beach Newborn Photography. I am at the age where some of my closest and long time friends are having children and starting families. It is exciting getting to meet the newest additions but it is even more special getting to deliver photographs to the parents of their cute little babies.
The first Long Beach newborn photography shoot I did was for my friends Justin and Caroline. They had a little girl named Sunny and it fits her so well. She is a little ray of sunshine and was smiling just about the whole session. We did the session in their apartment using some blankets, flowers and one umbrella light since there were not many windows. After that, Natalie and Kevin were expecting TWIN GIRLS! I was a bit more nervous about this one, but excited as well. Poppy and Madeline came and we shot them using a variety of different props and backgrounds. Being they came in the fall, it was fitting to use pumpkins, leaves and some little costumes. The session was amazing and even though I still can’t tell them apart, I love them and am looking forward to shooting them again soon. The most recent one was baby Greyson Killarney. Sean and Allie are also very close friends and I even did Allie’s Maternity Session. Sean being a retired firefighter we used his helmet as one of our props and the images came out great. We also used a white blanket, giving a nice fresh and light feel to some of the other photos.
I am grateful to be able to give my friends these precious photos of their babies and would love to do more Long Beach Newborn Photography in the future. I am even considering renting some studio space to do it much more. What do you guys think?
