This Brotherhood Winery Wedding had a little bit of everything. Chris and Megan’s wedding took place in the small town of Washingtonville, NY on July 6th 2019. The day started with beautiful weather at the hotel where they were both getting ready. My second went with the crazy group of groomsmen while I took some time with Megan and her bridesmaids. On our way to the church, panic started to set in. One of the girls realized the rings had been left at the hotel room, but luckily someone was able to grab them so we didn’t have to turn around.
Once we arrived at the church, the ceremony began and guests settled into their pews. The priest had known the groom for a long time, which made for some more connection. After the exited, we did a few photos on the steps of the church with the bridal party. I needed a wide lens and was able to grab a couple cool shots of the group before we headed to West Point to continue shooting. Megan had checked out the area before the day of and knew exactly where to go for portraits. We were strapped for time so got right to work once we arrived. After a few quick shots we hopped back on the bus and ran to another spot up the road. We had to hurry if we wanted to make it back for cocktail hour, but we wanted to grab another few shots in the fields of the local brewery.
Once finished with photos, we arrived for the Brotherhood Winery wedding just in time, and got right into the party. The Brotherhood winery wedding reception was both emotional and crazy fun. The speeches and first dances had most of the guests in tears. It was a pleasure working with the vendors listed below.
