Tito & Lynn’s Prospect Park Wedding took place on a cold day in November of 2018. While second shooting for Loreto Caceres Photography, I always shoot the Groom and his groomsmen getting ready before the ceremony. I first met Tito upon arrival at his apartment in Brooklyn, NY. He and his groomsmen were very welcoming and made me feel comfortable. We began shooting in his apartment before heading out on the bus to pick up the bride and her bridesmaids.
The bride was scheduled to ride in a beautiful all white Rolls Royce with her father to the church ceremony. Unfortunately, the car began smoking from under the hood as soon as she got in! I was able to grab a couple quick photos before she opted to take the bus instead with the rest of the bridal party.
The church ceremony was held in a old church in Brooklyn and the mass was tailored to their culture. Both the bride and groom had a large family who celebrated their exit from the church doors with confetti, hugs and kisses. Loreto took the bridal party to shoot in the park nearby and I was able to photograph Tito and Lynn. Loreto being the lead photographer directed them the whole way. We walked around and found some nice greenery and old buildings to shoot in front of.
Following some portraits in the park, everyone made their way to Chelsea Piers where the wedding reception would carry into the night. Chelsea Piers makes for some really amazing views and they normally have the windows open. Unfortunately it was too cold and the doors remained closed, but that didn’t stop Tito, Lynn and company from celebrating their new marriage.
