Tom & Rachel’s Wedding at Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club
June 1, 2019
To kick off the summer I had the pleasure of shooting Tom & Rachel’s Wedding at Bridgehampton Tennis and Surf Club. The wedding was on June 1st and started off with some stellar weather. Tom & Rachel were staying and getting ready at the Driftwood Resort in Montauk right on the beach. I met them there and got to shooting some details. Wedding days always move fast, so in no time we were ready for the first look. We did the first look right in front of the hotel on the beach and then began with the bridal party.
Rachel and I had planned to shoot portraits at the Bebe Windmill on the way to the venue prior to the wedding day. It is a beautiful location to shoot and close to the venue. A bus took everyone over to the windmill and we hopped out to shoot for about 30 minutes before having to head out. Upon arrival to the venue, we got family portraits done on the beach and were set for the ceremony.
The ceremony was beautifully decorated and set up on the sand in front of the venue. A fog bank rolled in but that didn’t stop us from capturing some incredible moments. After Tom and Rachel exited the ceremony site, it was party time. Sometimes a couple can get so caught up in chatting with their guests, taking photos or making sure everything goes smooth that they forget to enjoy themselves. Not in this case. The bridal party and couple got right to dancing before Rachel sang for Tom and the rest of the guests.
